PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily producing artificial skin with skin pattern, and to provide a method for producing an artificial skin formwork to be used for the above method. SOLUTION: The method for producing artificial skin forming the skin part of a wig to be worn on the human head is provided, comprising the following procedure: An unhardened artificial skin material 7 is hardened in such a state as to be in contact with the skin pattern 2 of an artificial skin formwork 1, and after the unhardened artificial skin material 7 is transferred with the skin pattern 2 of the artificial skin formwork 1 and hardened, the hardened artificial skin material 7 is detached from the artificial skin formwork 1.
