PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press brake in which the positioning of a work is performed even on the outside of a side frame. SOLUTION: This press brake is a press brake which is provided with a plurality of back gages 27L, 27R for positioning a work W which is bent with upper and lower dies 11, 13 so as to be individually movable in directions of back and forth, up and down and right and left in the rear position of a lower table 7. A striking member housing part 35 for housing a striking member 25 for striking the work W is provided within the moving region of the back gages 27L, 27R, striking member holding means 29U, 29L for holding the striking member 25 are provided on each back gage 27L, 27R and also a work contacting part for positioning the work W by contacting the work W is provided. In the state where the striking member 25 is held with the back gages 27L, 27R, the striking member 25 is constituted projectably to the outside of the side frames 3L, 3R of the press brake and the striking member housing part 35 is provided on the back of the lower table 7.
