<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly cool a plurality of battery modules housed in a holder case and efficiently cool the same even when forced air blasting is stopped. <P>SOLUTION: The battery pack houses a plurality of battery modules 1 arrayed up and down in a horizontal posture in the holder case 2, in which 2, cooling wind is forcibly blown from bottom to top to cool the battery modules 1. Further, the holder case 2 has barrier ribs 3 inside extended up and down, and a forced air blasting duct 4 of cooling wind for cooling each battery module 1 is provided inside each barrier rib. The forced air blasting duct 4 has the barrier rib 3 slanted so as to narrow its width from down upward. Further, the holder case 2 is provided with natural heat radiation ducts 5 open upward with an upper width larger than a lower width, outside the slanted barrier ribs 3.
