<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical device for keeping medical instruments which are extended in different directions or from different positions and have a plurality of flexible bodies in a manner to facilitate the rotational movements or the rotations around the axis of the flexible bodies. <P>SOLUTION: The medical device 10 supports an endoscope 12 including a proximal part 32, a universal cable extending from the proximal part 32, and a tube 82 extending from a position on the proximal part 32 which is different from that of the universal cable 36. The medical device 10 is equipped with an arm 104 rotatably supporting the proximal part 32, one bundle retainer 134 for first and second supporting parts 106, 108 to place the universal cable 36 in a manner to move in response to the rotational movements of the proximal part 32, and the other bundle retainer 134 for the first and the second supporting parts 106, 108 to place the tube 82 in a manner to move in response to the rotational movements of the proximal part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
