<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively provide information to a portable terminal when it is impossible for a mobile terminal to make a communication in between an external server via a communication carrier in a place like a closed space, and even when communication costs matter in a communication system for executing information distribution to a portable terminal from a wireless tag. <P>SOLUTION: The external server 14 acquires service information regarding commodities/services or the like of a store 13 from a store terminal 17, and transmits it to a wireless reader/writer 11 via a LAN 18 without a request from the portable terminal 16. The wireless reader/writer 11 makes a wireless communication of the service information received from the external server. The wireless tag 12 receives the service information from the wireless reader/writer 11, and executes wireless distribution of the service information without a request from the portable terminal 16 when the portable terminal 16 is near the wireless tag 12. By this, it is possible for the portable terminal 16 to acquire the service information from the wireless tag 12, even without transmitting a provision request of the service information to the external server 14 via the communication carrier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
