<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reuse detection information on a specified recognition object detected by an imaging apparatus for subsequent image processing. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus has an imaging section (102) which picks up an image and outputs an image signal of the image, a subject detection section (103) which detects a subject in the image by using a plurality of detecting methods, and a storage means (101, 107, and 108) which store the detection results of the subject detection section and detecting methods used to obtain the detection results while relating them to the image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
