<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood structure for a vehicle capable of reducing a shock to a colliding object upon a collision without increasing the man-hour of installation and degrading the rigidity of a hood inner panel. <P>SOLUTION: The support rigidity of a striker support portion 11 is kept high as usual by making the plate thickness of a stiffener 12 smaller than that of the striker support portion 11. On the other hand, the rigidity of the stiffener 12 which is not required as much as that of the striker support portion 11 and needs to take a shock force to the colliding object into consideration is reduced. Therefore, original functions of the striker support portion 11 and the stiffener section 12 can be ensured, the shock force to the colliding object can be reduced upon a collision, and it is possible to eliminate the reinforcement of the back surface of a hood outer panel with a separate member, and the provision of a brittle section at a hood inner panel 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
