<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network apparatus capable of adjusting a frequency of extracting a packet depending on characteristics of terminals configuring a system and characteristics of traffic transmitted/received between the terminals. <P>SOLUTION: The network apparatus includes: storage means (a storage means 12, and a sampling rate table 121) for storing distribution information related to packet transmission/reception and a sampling rate corresponding to the distribution information in cross reference with each other; and a sampling rate determining means (sampling rate determining means 13) for particularizing the sampling rate corresponding to the packet distribution information included in a packet from the storage means and controlling extraction timing of the packet by the sampling means on the basis of the sampling rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
