PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fiber-reinforced polycaprolactone comprising fully impregnating a reinforcing fiber with a matrix resin and to provide a fiber-reinforced polycaprolactone prepared by impregnating a long fiber with a polycaprolactone as a matrix resin. SOLUTION: The method for producing the fiber-reinforced polycaprolactone comprises obtaining a sheet material by impregnating a reinforcing fiber of a fiber length of 10 mm or longer with a polycaprolactone varnish formed by dissolving a polycaprolactone of a number-average molecular weight of about 20,000 to 100,000 in a solvent and evaporating the solvent and molding the sheet by applying heat and pressure thereto.
