PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route guide device for performing proper guide corresponding to the scale size of a rotary intersection, or the like. SOLUTION: If a guide object rotary intersection has a large scale (S20:NO), shift to S30 is performed, and 'rotary intersection guide of an outlet number system' is executed. The 'rotary intersection guide of an outlet number system' is a guide for guiding the number of an exit road to be taken based on an entrance road from among a plurality of exit roads existing in the rotary intersection, for example, 'take the second exit road ahead'. Also, if the rotary intersection has a small scale (S20:YES) and a simple shape (S40:YES), shift to S50 is performed, and 'rotary intersection guide of a direction guide system' is executed. The 'rotary intersection guide of a direction guide system' is a guide for guiding the direction of the exit road which is a guide object based on the entrance road into the rotary intersection, for example, 'turn to the right'.
