PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an F-connector and an apparatus using the same that achieve improved solderability and a reduction in cost by allowing the distance between the F-connector and a substrate of the apparatus and/or the relative positional relationship therebetween to be constant when the F-connector is mounted onto the apparatus. SOLUTION: The F-connector comprises: a conductive shell 1 provided with a screw 4 on the perimeter thereof for fixation to a chassis of the apparatus; and a resin mold part 6 having a cavity 5 at the center thereof for receiving an coaxial cable and contained in the shell 1, with a non-cylindrical terminal 7 projecting from the shell 1 fixed to the resin mold part 6. The resin mold part 6 is not relatively movable in at least one of axial directions with respect to the shell 1, but is attached to be rotatable around a center axis. The mold part 6 is provided with a positioning means for allowing the relative positional relationship between the terminal 7 and the chassis of the apparatus to be constant.
