PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furniture fall preventing tool capable of stably supporting furniture without sliding a locked latch, and to provide a furniture fall preventing device using the tool. SOLUTION: The furniture fall preventing tool 1 comprises: a back surface board 2 to be fitted onto a wall surface; a swelling board 3 to be swelled from the back surface board 2; and an erection board 4 erected from the distal end of the swelling board 3. A plurality of through-holes 5 for locking the latche 7 are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the swelling board 3. Notched parts 6 are arranged at the opposite positions of the through-holes 5 at the distal end of the erection board 4.
