PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce resonance oscillation of a rotation control mechanism system including a motor and noise accompanied thereto. SOLUTION: This washing machine is provided with: a speed detecting means 21 detecting the rotating speed of the motor 12; an estimation means 24 estimating the state quantity such as the rotating speed of a washing tub 11 of the rotation control mechanism including the motor 12; a control means 23 computing a controlled variable according to a speed error between the actual rotating speed signal output by the speed detecting means 21 and a target rotating speed and the estimated state quantity and outputting a first control signal; and a driving means 26 outputting a driving current to the motor 12 via a PWM control circuit using the control signal as an input signal and an inverter circuit having a switching element. This washing machine reduces the resonance oscillation by the driving means 26 and suppresses the vibration and noise accompanied thereto. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
