PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoke blocking device for an elevator landing door device capable of adding the smoke blocking function while leaving an existing landing jamb behind, and reducing the remodeling cost when adding the smoke blocking function to a landing door. SOLUTION: A landing jamb 1 is provided at a landing entrance. The landing jamb 1 has a vertical pillar 1a, a door-stop pillar 1b and an upper frame (not shown). A high-speed door 2a and a low-speed door 2b as the landing doors are installed at the landing entrance in an opening/closing manner. A door stopper piece 3 having the Z-shaped section is mounted on the door stop pillar 1b. A first smoke blocking member 4 for shielding a gap from an abutting part 3c when the door is completely closed is mounted on an end on the door-stopper pillar 1b of the high-speed door 2a. The first smoke blocking member 4 is protruded from the end face on the door stop pillar 1b of the high-speed door 2a to the door stop pillar 1b side. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
