PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust pipe of an internal combustion engine inhibiting freezing of a change-over valve of an exhaust heat recovery device. SOLUTION: The exhaust pipe of the internal combustion engine comprises a main exhaust passage 10 in which exhaust gas flows, a bypass passage bypassing a part of the main exhaust passage 10, the exhaust hear recovery device for recovering heat of the exhaust gas flowing through the bypass passage, and the change-over valve 12 for switching a passage for flowing of the exhaust gas between the main exhaust passage 10 and the bypass passage. The main exhaust passage 10 is provided with a space AL for storing water on a more downstream side of the exhaust gas than the change-over valve 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
