<p>A power transmission device capable of transmitting a large force to a pressure member to produce a sufficient cam action by a cam for assisting press-contact or a cam for a back torque limiter. The power transmission device comprises a clutch housing (2), a clutch member (4), the pressure member (5), and the cam for assisting press-contact or the cam for the back torque limiter. A rotating force input into an input member can be transmitted to or cut off from an output member by the press-contact or release of drive side clutch discs (6) on or from driven side clutch discs (7). The power transmission device further comprises an engagement member (12a) disposed in place of at least the driven side clutch plate disc nearest the pressure member (5) and having a bent part (12aa) extended to the pressure member (5) side. The end part of the bent part (12aa) is inserted into the insertion hole (5b) of the pressure member (5) for engagement with the pressure member.</p> |
