A cooking vessel in a microwave oven is provided to enable a user to recognize the temperature of a cooking vessel to prevent burn. A cooking vessel in a microwave oven includes a reception pot(10), a pot cover(30), and a temperature recognition member(40). The reception pot has an upper opening and a predetermined storage space. The pot cover opens and closes an opened upper part of the reception pot and has an opened lower part. The temperature recognition member is detachably installed at the reception pot and contains a thermochromic pigment that varies its color according to temperature. The temperature recognition member is provided on the periphery of the reception pot. The pot cover is mounted on the temperature recognition member when the pot cover is coupled with the reception port. The temperature recognition member is made of rubber material.
