PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain quick correspondence in a personal digital assistant for remotely controlling the other apparatus. SOLUTION: In the personal digital assistant, data necessary for remotely controlling the other apparatus are divided into a basic data part and data to be displayed on a display, the basic data are previously stored in the personal digital assistant, and only the data for display are received by wireless communication immediately before the execution of remote control.
