PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio receiver in which a program service name of RDS (radio data system) broadcast can be correctly displayed and stored in a pre-set memory. SOLUTION: The radio receiver 10 has functions of receiving both the RDS broadcast and a DAB (digital audio broadcasting) broadcast, and is provided with a substitute display means for searching a program service name in the DAB broadcast having the same SId (service identifier) of PI (program identifier) of the received service in receiving the RDS broadcast, and displaying the searched program service name as a program service name of the RDS broadcast on a display device 3. A program service name storage means is provided with a substitute storage means for searching a program service name in the DAB broadcast having the same SId as the PI of the received service; and storing the searched program service name as the program service name of the received service of the RDS broadcast service into a memory device 4, when the program service name of the received service is stored into the memory device 4 during receiving the RDS broadcast, based on an operation of a pre-set memory by a user with an input device 2.
