PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means enabling the improvement of a throughput at printing to be implemented because of a smudge of recording paper being prevented by drying an ink with establishing a suitable stand-by time and the stand-by time longer than needed being not required to be provided at printing. SOLUTION: The smudge of the recording paper at printing is able to be prevented by the ways of making an ink drying time memorized in a memory element installed in an ink tank, establishing the stand-by time based on the information and making the stand-by time to be the time counted from the completion of one side printing of the recording paper up to the commencement of the next operation of a recording medium conveyance.
