PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system based on a lattice reduction aided receiver. SOLUTION: In a wireless communication system based on a lattice reduction aided receiver, lattice reduction is applied to a channel estimate, a reception signal is equalized according to a reduction reference channel, and one set of candidate vectors is selected according to a reduction reference to determine a transmitted symbol vector corresponding to each of the candidate vectors. Based on the reception signal, a probability to transmit each transmitted bit value is determined, thereby determining a soft estimate of the transmitted bit value from the reception signal.
