PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recommend contents which a user should watch from a broadcast program and accumulated contents. SOLUTION: This viewing recommendation device is equipped with an acquisition means 101 for acquiring first pieces of program information by every program to be broadcast rather in future than at preset, an accumulation means 106 which accumulates program by associating a second piece of program information by every program broadcast in the past, an urgency computation means 103 for computing urgency indicating to what extent the program should quickly be watched by every program in response of the first piece of program information and the second piece of program information and a presentation means 110 for presenting a recommendation list of programs to be watched based on a degree of urgency among programs corresponding to the acquired program information and the stored programs.
