PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple bacteria sampler of which the inspection accuracy is ensured by suppressing the mixing bacteria other than the bacteria bonded to an area to be examined. SOLUTION: The bacteria sampler 1 has a rod-shaped sampler body 2 having a bacteria sampling member 22 mounted on the leading end of its mounting part 21a, the housing member 3 for housing the rod-shaped sampler body 2. The rod-shaped sampler body 2 is molded from a plastic material and has a groove 23 for cutting the grasping part 21b of the sampler body 2 and a cutting auxiliary part 24 of which the surface is flat and the outer contour shape is arcuate is formed so as to be adjacent to the groove 23.
