PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk apparatus in which power consumption and noise of a fan motor can be reduced with simple circuit constitution. SOLUTION: A fan motor 14 is connected to output lines SP+, SP- of a driver IC 12 for driving a spindle motor 11 through diodes D3, D4 for preventing backflow, and the spindle motor 11 and the fan motor 14 are driven by the common driver IC 12. When the spindle motor 11 is rotated in recording or reproduction of an optical disk 10, the fan motor is rotated simultaneously and a fan 15 is rotated to suppress temperature rise of the inside of an apparatus. When recording or reproducing is finished and the spindle motor 11 is stopped, the fan motor also is stopped simultaneously. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
