PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer control system capable of continuously executing processing, even in case of failure of an active system computer within a system, and continuing to operate without loss of input and output data. SOLUTION: In this computer control system, an input and output device 4 is provided between the active system computer 2 and a standby system computer 3 which perform the same processing and external apparatuses 6 and 7, and data received from the external apparatus 6 (7) is inputted to both the active system computer 2 and the standby system computer 3. The operating system computer 2 executes arithmetic processing and the arithmetic result thereof is outputted to the external apparatus 7 (6) through the input and output device 4. The arithmetic result is compared with the arithmetic processing result by the standby system computer 3 to determine whether the active system computer 2 is normal or abnormal.
