PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dial which makes an indicated design seen as if it is enlarged more than a real one, without changing the indication design at all. SOLUTION: On the rear face side of an indication portion 112 of the dial 11, a graduation 112a is formed in close vicinity to the outer wall portion 114, and a design enlargement portion 113 shaped so that a part of the indication portion 112 corresponding to a portion just above the wall portion 114 is cut off into a slant face, is provided so that this graduation 112a is seen longer than it really is. Accordingly, the graduation 112a is seen longer than it really is, without increasing the size of the graduation 112a at all, and moreover with slightly changing the basic shape of the dial 11.
