<p>When marking setting to recording data is made, automatic marking at a position suitable for the situation of when the imaging is performed can be performed. When a captured image is presumed to be being recorded, the zooming state, the camera movement pattern, and video/audio signal feature value are monitored, and the time point at which a predetermined variation may have occurred is detected. A predetermined data position in reference to the detected time point is set as a marking position. The setting information on the marking position is stored in a structure of management information and in a storage section along with the recording data.</p> |
