<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely, surely and easily position a cage of an elevator. <P>SOLUTION: In a hoisting device 3 for an elevator in which the cage is moved up or down by hoisting the rope with a drive pulley connected with a rotational shaft 24 of a rotor of a motor 11. The hoisting device comprises: a brake disc member 31 connected with the rotational shaft 24; a brake device 12 having a brake housing member 32 to which a brake caliper 33 is disposed to hold the brake disc member 31 and apply brake; and a hydraulic cylinder 13 connected with the brake housing member 32 and a housing 21 of the motor 11 to adjust a relative position therebetween. A rotational angle position around the rotational shaft 24 of the brake housing member 32 can be adjusted depending on drive positions of the hydraulic cylinder 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
