<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a turbo supercharger in a state where an intake quantity supplied to an engine approaches a surge minimum air quantity. <P>SOLUTION: This engine with the turbo supercharger has a wheel rotation sensor 33 detecting a rotating speed of a compressor wheel 14c of the turbo supercharger 14, a memory 28 storing the surge minimum air quantity Gmin for generating surging by the compressor wheel, intake quantity detecting means 34, 36 and 37 detecting the intake quantity supplied to the engine, surging avoiding means 17, 16b and 32 constituted so as to avoid the surging by increasing the intake quantity supplied to the engine, and a controller 27 for driving or stopping the surging avoiding means. The controller 27 is constituted so as to stop the surging avoiding means when the intake quantity of the engine separates from the surge minimum air quantity by driving the surging avoiding means when the intake quantity supplied to the engine approaches the surge minimum air quantity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
