PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining member for allowing easy mounting/demounting of timbers without impairing the beautiful appearance of the timbers, and to provide a joining structure. SOLUTION: The joining member comprises a main frame part having an abutting face for abutting on the end faces of the plurality of timbers, a guide part extending to a direction approximately perpendicular to the abutting face of the main frame part for guiding the end faces of the plurality of timbers in the moving direction when abutting on the abutting face, and a screw having a plane head portion and adapted to be threaded to the main frame part.
