PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass fiber sizing agent capable of giving a glass fiber of excellent sizability. SOLUTION: The glass fiber sizing agent comprises a polymer prepared by grafting vinylpyrrolidone onto polyvinyl alcohol. It is preferable that the sizing agent comprises not less than 10 wt.% polymer which is prepared by grafting vinylpyrrolidone onto polyvinyl alcohol having a degree of polymerization of 100 to 4,000 and a degree of saponification of 70 to 100 mol% and has a K value of 12 to 150.
