PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading apparatus, control method thereof, control program, and image reading system in which re-execution of document scan operation is prevented and data can be surely printed on an image read document. SOLUTION: The image reading apparatus comprises feed rollers 202-206, an image reading sensor 207, a printing head 211, an operation display section 230 and a CPU 251. If printing by the printing head 211 is disabled at a printing position inputted through a printing setting picture 400 or the operation display section 230, the CPU 251 changes the printing position.
