PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power feeder capable of optimally feeding power to a plurality of systems of video equipment without increasing the number of components. SOLUTION: The power feeder is provided with a separating means (18) for separating video signals (SIG1-SIG9) from signals to be input into a plurality of connection terminals (C1-C9); a selecting means (19) for successively selecting the video signals (SIG1-SIG9) per predetermined time and outputting them; detector means (21, 22 and 23) for detecting the amplitude value of each of the video signals selected and output by the selecting means (19); a comparing means (24) for outputting a detection signal (S10) for indicating significance, when the amplitude value to be output from the detector means is larger than a predetermined value; and a power feeding means (25) for controlling power feeding to imaging devices (CAM1-CAM9), based on the detection signal (S10) to be output from the comparing means (24).
