PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a display device, capable of easily preventing generation of defects of un-hardened sealing agent by sufficiently hardening sealing agent, filled between two substrates without adding manufacturing processes. SOLUTION: A sealing agent 11 is provided to surround a display region "a" with an organic electroluminescent element 3, formed on an element substrate 1 on which the organic electroluminescent element 3 is formed. Next, a filler 13 is applied to a region surrounded by the sealing agent 11. Resin, having compatibility to the sealing agent 11 and of which a region phase-dissolving with the sealing agent 11 has hardened, is used as the filler 13. Then, the element substrate 1 and a sealing substrate 15 are stuck via the sealing agent 11 and the filler 13, and the organic electroluminescent element 3 is sealed in the filler 13.
