PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner etc., with which satisfactory transferability and cleanability can be maintained for a long period, there is no fluctuation in image unevenness, flow properties and electrostatic chargeability are less changed for a long period and stability is excellent. SOLUTION: The toner comprises having at least a toner nucleus, and an external additive on the surface of the toner nucleus, in which the external additive contains at least an inorganic oxide of a large grain size having a grain size of 50 to 500 nm. The number of pieces of the inorganic oxide existing on the surface of the toner nucleus observed in an SEM photograph taken in ten-thousand-times magnification at 2.5kV by using a scanning type electrostatic microscope is 0 to 3 pieces in the least part and 15 to 200 pieces in the most part when≥10 points of the region 1×1μm<SP>2</SP>of a piece of the toner are observed.
