PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent contamination of fluid circulating in a valve housing and wear of a screw part and to improve durability. SOLUTION: This flow rate control valve 10 is provided with a fixed cylinder 34 in which a float rod 38 is inserted and the screw part 33 is formed on an outer peripheral face, a holding cylinder 66 which supports the float rod 38 and in which a screw part 64 formed on an inner peripheral face is screw-fitted in the screw part 33 of the fixed cylinder 34, a fence cover 52 mounted between the fixed cylinder 34 and the float rod 38 and capable of extending and contracting in the axial direction, an upper part sealing member 48 provided above a valve element 40, and a lower part sealing member 50 provided below the valve element 40. The maximum outer peripheral diameter of the upper part sealing member 48, the lower part sealing member 50, and the float rod 38 is formed as substantially the same diameter, and the float rod 38 is displaced under energization action of a step motor 12 to control flow rate of fluid by distance of separation of the valve element 40 from a valve seat 30.
