SOLUTION: An object lens 7 as the optical element is formed by using a thermoplastic resin composition, the thermoplastic resin composition is a melt-moldable thermoplastic resin composition obtained by dispersing inorganic particulates in a thermoplastic resin having a refractive index n0, and, when the refractive index of the inorganic particulates is np and the rate of thermal change of the refractive index of the inorganic particulates is dnp/dT, the dnp/dT and volume fractionΦof the inorganic particulates in the thermoplastic resin composition at 23°C satisfy (A): dnp/dT≥0.00012×(np-n0+0.25)<SP>2</SP>-0.000025, and (B): 0.25≤Φ≤0.5.
