PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyarylene sulfide composition having excellent dimensional stability, heat resistance, metal mold releasability, low gas properties (a small volume of an emitted gas) and melt fluidity and small anisotropy of thermal conductivity and thermal expansivity and useful for especially applications of electrical parts such as electrical/electronic parts or automotive instrumentation parts. SOLUTION: The polyarylene sulfide composition comprises (a) a polyarylene sulfide, (b) a low-melting alloy, (c) metal powder having≥400°C melting point and/or carbon fibers having≥100 W/m K thermal conductivity, (d) scaly boron nitride powder, (e) coated magnesium oxide powder and (f) carnauba wax. (b) The low-melting alloy has≥300°C liquid phase line temperature and≥150 to≤250°C solid phase line temperature. (d) The scaly boron nitride powder has a hexagonal crystal structure.
