PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterstop sealing material excellent in interfacial adhesion of the sealing material itself comprising a foamed structure having closed cells to a structural member comprising a waterstop target, having easy workability, and increased in safety, environmental hygiene, and reliability. SOLUTION: This waterstop sealing material has a plurality of concave and convex parts exhibiting a geometric pattern on at least one of surfaces of the foamed structure given by using a thermoplastic resin as a main raw material and having the closed cells, wherein a convex part forming the periphery of each of the concave and convex parts has a height identical to those of the other convex parts, is narrow in width, and has an approximately identical width. Further, compressive force generated in the foamed structure is maximumly expressed through the convex part, when the convex part is contacted with an interface of the structural member comprising the waterstop target, so that an interface of the waterstop sealing material and the interface of the structural member comprising the waterstop target are closely adhered to each other.
