PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous dispersion of an inorganic antibacterial agent, capable of enough exhibiting an antibacterial performance inherent in the inorganic antibacterial agent and excellent in dispersibility, without causing such a fear as to pollute the environment or to exert a bad influence on a human body, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The aqueous dispersion of the inorganic antibacterial agent contains the inorganic antibacterial agent and an anionic surfactant, wherein the inorganic antibacterial agent comprises a complex of a carrier and a metal or metallic compound having antibacterial action. The method for producing the aqueous dispersion comprises agitating a mixture containing a powder of the inorganic antibacterial agent, the anionic surfactant, and water. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
