PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for simply judging adaptation possibility of a technique for analyzing amylase activity in organisms except human, although a technique for analyzing amylase activity using human saliva as a sample has been established as a means for evaluating stress. SOLUTION: Genome analysis of amylase gene is carried out and its information analysis is effective for availability judgment of stress evaluation of a technique for analyzing amylase activity in organisms. The method for screening a candidate object organism comprises judging homology to amylase consensus sequence of amino acid and base sequence of amylase gene of object organism to be tested in order to judge an organism applicable to a stress judging method using amylase activity as an index.
