The invention concerns a device for filling with pulverized coal (27) cells (7) of a furnace (2) for firing anodes (8) comprising: a) a reservoir including a body (10) extended by a lower portion forming at least one funnel (13), at least two outlets (16) for ejecting the pulverized coal (27) from the reservoir (9), said outlets being substantially aligned, b) a device for maneuvering said reservoir, enabling the reservoir to be moved in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the alignment of the outlets (16). Thus, it is possible to pour the pulverized coal (27) simultaneously into two adjacent cells (7) of a furnace (2), from the same reservoir. The invention is useful for firing anodes used for electrolysis of aluminum. |
