Provided a message conversion system and method in which context recognition is strengthened. In the message conversion system and method, the context of text message is effectively recognized so that logic errors can be avoided in conversion of text message. According to the invention, a filtering method and an individualization unit using a statistical method are used as means for recognizing context. Therefore, there is an effect of reducing an error of context recognition. Further, a contents management module uses a DB, and a contents usage module uses memory mapped I/O using a data file. Therefore, the same data are present in the DB and the data file. Further, since the contents usage module maps the data file into the memory at the time of the initialization, data can be used at a high rate.
