A method and a system for extracting/reproducing web-based music information are provided to reproduce a music file by extracting and storing a connection path for the music files scattered over several web pages and providing the connection path for the music file requested from a client. An agent extracts the opened music files(10) scattered over the Internet web sites and monitors update of the music files. A database(14) stores the connection path of the extracted music files. An operation window(22) includes a search engine(16) for searching and playing the music file from the database, a search result list window, and a player(20) for playing the music file selected through the search result list window. The agent comprises an extracting/storing part(28) extracting the open music file scattered over the Internet and storing/updating the connection path of the extracted music files to the database, a monitoring part(30) updating presence of the music file based on the stored connection path, and a managing part(32). |
