A method of destruction treatment for insulating oil containing PCBs(Polychlorinated Biphenyls) by using high temperature alkali molten salt is provided to gasify the insulating oil containing PCBs to remove danger of explosion or backward flow or flames caused by gasifying with alkali molten salt of high temperature suddenly, and make the insulating oil contacting the alkali molten salt in the state of bubbles for dissolving, thereby collecting chlorine gas generated by the dissolving by the reaction with the alkali molten salt instantly. In a method of destruction treatment for insulating oil containing PCBs by using high temperature alkali molten salt, the insulating oil containing PCBs is gasified in a gasifying unit(4) at a temperature of 150‹C or higher and the result insulating oil vapor is mixed with inert gas such as nitrogen, oxygen and air respectively supplied from an air supply unit(1), an oxygen supply unit(2) and an inert gas supply unit(3). The insulating oil vapor is supplied to an alkali molten salt reactor(5), which is heated by external heating units(7) in the range from 500‹C to 1000‹C. The insulating oil vapor reacts on alkali molten salt and is dissolved into carbon dioxide, Chloride Salt of alkali metal and water.
