Fresh air supply system for an internal combustion engine

The system has a fresh gas distributor to supply fresh gas to cylinders of an internal combustion engine. The distributor has a flap (8) to control fresh gas paths, which is supported rotationally adjustable at a swivel axis (9) in or at the distributor. The flap has longitudinal edges (27) running transverse to the swivel axis and including slots (28) penetrating into a flap body (17). The slots are arranged spatial to the edges and extend transverse to the swivel axis.
