<p>The mincing machine has a cutting unit (14) with at least one blade (4,15). The cutting unit has a safety device arranged behind the last blade (15) in the direction in which the material passes. The safety device prevents operating personnel being injured by the blade. Preferably, the machine can only be operated when the safety device is inserted. The safety device comprises a perforated plate (5) with hole diameters of 6 mm or less, and a thickness of 5 mm or more. Independent claims are included for a perforated plate, a mincing machine, and for a method of securing a grinding machine.</p> |
