In the embodied invention it is shown an x-ray imaging device capable of producing multiple image frames, each frame comprising an array of pixel values with a certain bit depth, the device comprising processing means for calculating image pixel values from pixel values of different frames, wherein the bit depth of the image values is bigger than the bit depth of the pixel values from the individual frames.
