Serum stable liposomes comprising amphoter II lipid mixtures

To provide stable formulations of amphoteric liposomes that do not release encapsulated drugs e. g. otigonucteotide drugs upon contact with human serum amphoteric liposomes comprising a mix of lipid components with amphoteric properties and a mixture of phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine whereas the ratio phosphatidylethanolamins to phosphatidylcholins is between 0.5 and 8 are proposed. The serum stable amphoteric liposomal formulations can be used for the intracellular delivery of drugs and for the prevention or treatment of a condition and/or disease in mammals or part of mammals in particular humans or their organs.
