The invention relates to a plastic container, especially a plastic bottle, which has a container base (2), a neck part (3) with a pouring opening (4), and a handle part (7) molded onto the container base (2). The aim of the invention is to reduce cycle times and to increase flexibility with respect to the materials that can be used. For this purpose, the plastic container (1) is produced from a perform in a stretch blow-molding process. The handle part (7) is configured as an integral part of the container base (2) and has a stretched and blow-molded handle section (8). The invention also relates to a preform suitable for producing the plastic container and to a method for producing plastic containers of the aforementioned kind.
